About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the Paladex website. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Questions: infopaladex@gmail.com.

To confirm: Add the operator's legal name, address and (if a company) registration details, as required for website operators in the EU (for example under Spain's LSSI if established there).

What Paladex is

Paladex is an independent, free-to-use catalogue of padel rackets. It lets you browse rackets by brand, inspect them in 3D, read their specifications and explanations, and get suggestions from the Racket Finder. Paladex does not sell rackets and is not a party to any purchase.

Information, not professional advice

Everything on the site is general information to help you compare rackets. It is not professional, medical or coaching advice. In particular, comfort and arm-care suggestions are general guidance and not a substitute for advice from a doctor or physiotherapist.

Racket Finder results are produced by a transparent, rules-based comparison of your answers with published specifications. They are suggestions, not guarantees that a racket will suit you.

Limits of product information

Specifications are compiled from manufacturers' published data and, where a manufacturer doesn't publish a value, from retailers' listings. Values from retailers are marked "unverified". Manufacturers change products, and sources can be incomplete or wrong, so information may be inaccurate or out of date.

Scores (power, control and so on) are Paladex's own sample evaluations derived from specifications. They are opinions, not laboratory measurements.

Prices are indicative. They come from brands' or retailers' stores at the date stated and can change at any time. Availability is not guaranteed.

3D models labelled "platform-created" are built by Paladex from photographs to represent the real racket. Shapes, thickness, colours and printed details are approximations; the manufacturer's product is the reference.

Always check the details with the manufacturer or retailer before you buy.

Retailers, affiliate links and external sites

Links to shops and other websites are provided for convenience. Paladex doesn't control those sites and isn't responsible for their content, products, prices, delivery or privacy practices. Any purchase is a contract between you and the retailer, under the retailer's terms.

Paladex may earn a commission from some retailer links. This never changes the price you pay or how rackets are scored and recommended. See the Affiliate disclosure.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text, guides, scores, data compilation, software and the 3D models created by Paladex are owned by or licensed to Paladex and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use, and link to any page. You may not, without written permission, copy or republish substantial parts of the content or the database, download or extract the 3D models or other assets, or use the content to build a competing service.

Third-party trademarks and images

Brand names, logos, product names and product designs belong to their respective owners. They are used only to identify the products described. Their use does not imply that any brand endorses, sponsors or is affiliated with Paladex, unless we say so.

Product photographs are credited to their source. If you own a name, logo, image or design shown on the site and want it corrected or removed, email infopaladex@gmail.com and we will respond promptly.

To confirm: Product photos currently come from brand and retailer websites without a licence. Obtain permission or use affiliate-feed images before a public launch.

Acceptable use

When using the site, you agree not to:

• use it for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its administration area, servers or data;
• interfere with the site's operation, for example by overloading it, introducing malware or bypassing security or rate limits;
• scrape, crawl or copy the content, data or 3D models by automated means beyond what normal search engine indexing requires.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, including specifications, scores and features, at any time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Paladex is not liable for losses arising from reliance on information on the site, from purchases made with third parties, or from temporary unavailability of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

To confirm: Have this liability clause checked by a lawyer for the country where the operator is established.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [country to be confirmed]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in its courts.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.
