The ML10 Pro Cup has been a reference control racket for years. A round head and even balance make it quick and forgiving, the rubber-based core gives a firm but comfortable response, and the rough silica finish helps with spin. It is a popular first 'serious' racket for players moving up from beginner models.

Paladex’s read

One of the safest buys in padel: it helps more than it demands. Power players will want more, but for building points it is hard to fault at its price.

Our take

Sample editorialPaladex editorial (sample)

Control, comfort and a big sweet spot

A forgiving round that makes the ball go where you aim. A sensible step up from beginner rackets.

The round head puts the sweet spot low and central, and the even balance makes the racket quick to bring into position, which shows on volleys and in defence. Power is modest on overheads. You need to swing for it, but placement is easy. The fibreglass face gives a forgiving, slightly 'pocketed' feel.

Pros

  • Very forgiving sweet spot
  • Quick at the net
  • Good value

Cons

  • Limited free power overhead
  • Less exciting for aggressive players

Verdict

An easy recommendation for control-minded players and fast-improving beginners.

3D inspection notes

In the sweet-spot overlay the zone sits lower and wider than on the diamond rackets, close to the centre of the head.
