What reviewers say

2 sources summarisedChecked 7 Oct 2026

padel.fyi's expert review (7.9/10) calls it the best Motion HEAD has made. The full carbon face adds the feel and control earlier Motions lacked, and the contained weight (about 358 g measured) keeps it easy to move for a diamond.

What testers like

Precise bandejas, viboras and volleys
Very manoeuvrable for a diamond
Good value

Watch out for

Moderate ball output on slow balls
Needs more arm in passive defence

Suits: Players who take the net and play with intent.
padel.fyi score: 7.9 / 10

Brand: Head
Model: Extreme Motion 2026
Collection: Extreme
Year: 2026
Shape: DiamondWidest high up near the tip, tapering in straight lines to the throat. The sweet spot sits high on the face. Maximum leverage for overheads and smashes. The smaller, higher sweet spot punishes off-centre hits, so it rewards good technique.
Weight: 360 gA mid-range weight that most adult players handle comfortably, balancing stability and speed.
Balance: High (head-heavy) · ≈ 272 mm (estimated)Where the weight is concentrated. Hits harder on smashes and volleys, but feels slower to swing and is more demanding on the shoulder and elbow. Higher balance generally favours power, lower balance usually improves maneuverability.
Thickness: 38 mmA full 38 mm profile (the regulation maximum) gives more stability and power.
Frame material: Carbon (Graphene Inside)
Face material: Carbon, Extreme Spin rough finish
Core: Power FoamPrecise and powerful at higher swing speeds, while still giving some help on slower balls.
Surface: RoughGrips the ball for more spin on slices, kick serves and viboras.
Hardness: Medium-hardLeans firm.
Sweet spot: High on the faceDerived from the shape class. The 3D zone is an illustration, not a measurement.
Grip & handle: Standard handle with overgrip
